Privacy Notice

Elara is operated by ELARA DIGITAL RECEPTIONIST ABDUL AMEER, Norwegian organisation no. 938269041. This notice explains how Elara handles personal information when patients interact with an Elara-powered clinic through Voice, Website Chat or WhatsApp, and when clinics use the Elara service.

Information used for conversations and appointments

Depending on the clinic's configuration, Elara may process a patient's name, contact details, requested service, appointment time, practitioner preference, and conversation details needed to answer approved questions or book, reschedule or cancel an appointment. Elara does not collect card or bank details and does not process payment for clinic treatments.

Do not use Elara for emergencies or share unnecessary medical or other sensitive information. Elara coordinates reception and appointments; it does not provide medical advice.

Roles and responsibility

The clinic normally decides why and how its patients' information is used and is responsible for the patient relationship. Elara provides digital-reception services on the clinic's behalf. Clinics using Elara must have an appropriate agreement and their own patient-facing privacy information.

Why information is used

Information is used to answer clinic-approved questions, manage appointments, prevent duplicate bookings, synchronize the connected clinic system or calendar, support clinic administration, protect the service, and respond to legitimate support requests.

Sharing and service providers

Elara uses technical providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, database, AI, communications, billing and clinic-integration providers. Information is not sold. Access is limited to what is needed to operate, secure and support the service. The current provider overview is available on the subprocessor page.

Your choices and rights

To access, correct, cancel or request deletion of information connected to an appointment, contact the clinic where the appointment was made. You may also use Elara to reschedule or cancel an appointment where the connected system supports it. For privacy questions concerning the Elara platform, contact ElaraAssistant@hotmail.com.

Changes

We may update this notice as Elara develops or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page.
